I have a 1 liter barrel I used to use to age some spirits in just for fun. Can I age some wine in it? I recently got a few bottles of merlot that a friend made. Can I just pour some in the barrel. Since it's a small barrel how long would it sit for? I know smaller barrels speed up the process...
