I'm making a Winexpert Eclipse Merlot. I'm at the step where I've added the wood cubes. The directions say they should sink after a few days but mine are still floating after 9 days and it's time to rack again. Should I be concerned?
I'm currently reading Home Winemaking for Dummies. I'm new to home wine making so I don't know how useful it really is but I feel like I've learned some things.
Are there any books that anyone would recommend to help educate a novice wine maker?
New to the site and wine making. I've already started my first 6 gal kit wine and have a running list of questions that I'll be working thru before I start the next batch.
