    Just started a new batch of merlot. Im keepin it in my basement which stays around 60-63 degrees. Is that too cold? Will it still ferment? Thanks.

    You guys rock. I was freaking out thinking I had ruined the batch. But after a couple of your replies I measured the grav and it was 1.030. Measured this morning and it was 1.010. Racked to a glass carboy and she started bubbling slowly right away. Thanks again everyone.
