    Dessert Wine Trail/Camden Tablets

    Hi all just started to make a red grape dessert wine only a gallon batch, its concentrated juice and got the S.G reading at 1.115 do i need to add a camden tablet before or after fermentation not quite sure?

    the smell i got is really strong its that strong i cant get my head in the tub and everytime i take a breath it over powers me. it smells really sweet from a distance. but i used tropical juice and got a 1 gallon batch and i used bakers yeast 6 grams to be more precise

    hi all at the start my sg readings were 1.060 which would give me around 6% took another reading today and my readings are all down, my percentage is down to 2% what on earth has happened here then? do this mean my alcohol percentage is around 4%

    haha yeah i have heard that bottles explode last thing i want is glass everywhere the wife will kill me. But i will do those readings in a week or two and have a look. thank you

    Hi all

    well i have just started a tropical juice beverage its hydrometer readings are 1.060 so i think its gonna be a nice drink fingers crossed. Its only a 1 gallon batch as its my first attempt.

    Hi there right my hydrometer readings before the start of fermentation to a 1 gallon batch was 1.060 so my alcohol percentage will be around 6% to 7% the temperature is around 65 degrees and a pack of yeast was added to start it all off. But what i want to know is there any way of calculating...
