    Hey from Seattle

Heheh. I appreciate it, William. I'll forward this to the g/f (I think her username is Detritus on this board) since she's the CEO of our little venture, and also in charge of the distribution. ;) FWIW: Just sampled the Peach wine last night. This is our 2nd batch of anything ever. It...

Sparkling wine bottling question...aka...."my foist thread".

Huh. Now THAT is an idea. Yeah, my girlfriend's father came over with some Lambic bottles, and those seemed pretty thick. On one hand, it would be a good excuse to drink lambic, but on the other, I would need to buy a corker. And in my teeny pad, space is kind of a commodity. :( But I...

    Hey from Seattle

Nice! Yeah, it's good wine country out here. All of my friends are psyched to be receiving their bottles soon, and I'm pleased to have a hobby with such a rich history and tradition. Washington wine party, FTW! ;)

Sparkling wine bottling question...aka...."my foist thread".

Cool. Like I said though, these are more like beer bottles. And they're also capped like them. They're like 700ml (approx). I looked it up once...they're about 3 oz smaller than a wine bottle...a little less than one glass. I'm not sure what they're called, but they're the same size as beer...

Sparkling wine bottling question...aka...."my foist thread".

Okay. So I'm making my 2nd batch, and I'd like to be a sparkling wine, if possible. But we're using slightly smaller bottles for bottling. I'm not sure what they're called, but it's about the size of a large beer bottle. Slightly smaller than a wine bottle. If I recall, they were about 1...

    Hey from Seattle

New to wine making. Just bottled my first batch, and got all the labels applied. And now the waiting begins! :try Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm new to the craft, so I'll probably ask stupid questions (but only when the search engine fails me) that have been covered a million times in...
