    question about the basic skeeter pee recipe on page one, i recently made a batch of limoncello, and having peeled 30 lemons,I put the whole lemons through my champion juicer and froze the juice,can use this juice as part of the recipe?

    question on the eldeberry I made this from the large cans of juice ,came out strong in the eldeberry taste a little too strong, and very bitter, the smell is not so great but it tastes and smells like eldeberries,can I add anything to these before drinking to sort of cut the bitterness?

    thanks,what i dont get is the wine is crystal clear with no sediment . I thought it wouldnt clear if it wasnt degassed properly...chalk it up to newbness

    Thats right its a kit pinot grigio,realized that i bottled too soon didnt degass properly,now the question: its been in the bottles about a month,can i dump it all back into a carbouy and degass? then bottle again or is it a wasted batch.....thanx

    thanx for the heads up,fermentation is at a full boil finally,when i rack into a bottling bucket with the priming sugar,do you draw off the top to rack leaving the bottom untouched or can i use my wine siphon that goes from bottom up?

    called my supplier he said its the type of yeast,lager yeast,said it will be fine,move it to a warmer area

    As far as a second racking goes should I wait for the secondary fermentation to complete? or should I rack and degass now?opinions appreciated....made from juice the last week in september....racked the second week of october into a demi its been slowly calming down ever since....smells great

    I guess i thought by what i was told i expected more fermentation action,the airlock got a bubble as i watched it this morning,maybe it was the lager yeast? being fermented as an ale? ...the brew smells really good right now .I guess I will check the sg tonight and if it moving will just let it...
