I've been spreading fresh manure every other year and watering it in if its dry. Had my largest harvest opportunity this past fall (year 5) after application although birds got to most of it, this year nets are going in.

Its just for personal use right now, this will be year 5 and every year the harvest has doubled. We have 40 La Crescent and 50 Marquette vines right now. Hoping one day we will be able to sell the wine or atleast allow others to harvest if it becomes too much to handle.

They just posted the results this week, this was my 2nd year making wine and first year entering a La Crescent and Marquette and very surprised by the results! Look forward to getting the notes after the fair.
