Bottling skeeter pee in plastic screw top?

Every batch of Skeeter Pee I've make I use 1/2 gallon plastic screw top juice jugs. I put the last 1/2 to 3/4 gallon from carboy into 2 of these jugs. These get drank first. I've had Skeeter Pee in these jug for 2 months with no problem. The rest goes into wine and beer bottles. Someone can...

    First Try

Good choice for a first batch, fast and tasty. I've made six batches and getting ready for my seventh, every one has been exceptional. I've been doing this for a year and have made more Skeeter Pee than anything else.

Exploding Bottles, what did I do wrong?

Correct me if I'm wrong. If he adds sugar to back sweeten after k-meta and sorbate he should wait two weeks before bottling to ensure fermentation doesn't restart. Otherwise he may have a repeat of the exploding bottles.

    ?Pectic Enzyme

Prophylactically, nice choice from your cerebral lexicon. The only time I've heard that used in wine making is in lieu of a traditional air lock. That put a smile on my face.;)

    I've Been Wondering....

I'm Just finishing a Red Wine SP that sounds similar to what you are talking about, here's what I did; I used three or four cans of Welchs red grape concentrate and started a gallon of Red Wine. Once it was ready for the secondary I started adding my SP must to it, when I had about a half...

Corona Bottles Airplanedoc I'd like a bit more information on this. I have an unlimited supply of Corona bottles and I would love to get the ink/paint labels off of them. I'm assuming you thin out the CLR, Lime Away or StarSan with water, if so what ratio do you use? Eric
