    zinfandel blending?

    I really like a 50/50 blend of zin and syrah. We did this blend last year and it won a double gold in the orange county competition.

    We have 30 acres of them in the central valley of CA. The picture I used is a clip of the vineyard. They are the real tokay too. It has already won a silver medal and a gold medal in some pretty good size competitions too.

    What is your favorite blend? It does not matter if it was red or white. My first and still favorite white blend was a 87% Tokay and a 13% Pinot grigio. Although my favorite red blend was 45% Primitivo 50% syrah and 5% petite.

    Muscato & Niagra

    There are 2 major types of white moscato. One is very sweet and syrupy and the other is sweet but crisp and fruity. Does anyone know how to make the 2 versions?

    RO/DI water?

    Be very careful with tap water. Even if it tastes fine or smells fine, most tap will have some chlorine which will cause a lot of cork taint and ruin your wine.
