    Can I rush it?

    I have a hydrometer but haven’t used it before. I’ll check that asap. The kit I have is a concentrate, from igobru. How about the secondary, should I give it a solid 3 weeks?

    Can I rush it?

    Hey y’all, I have a batch of strawberry wine (from a kit) at 5 weeks in primary at the moment. Per the instructions, I’m to let it stay in primary for 8 weeks, then transfer and allow another 3 weeks to settle/neutralize before bottling. My question is: can I rush either of those stages safely?

    Thanks! I hate to be so difficult, but does anyone of know where I can find a step by step tutorial for this? I have: Hydrometer Red Star (premier blanc) yeast Campden tablets Pectic enzyme Welch's 100% grape juice And Jugs, Airlocks, siphon, and bottles/corks

    Other than a hydrometer, it looks like I still need to get some pectic enzyme. I'm bummed, I thought I had everything I needed. Is there a workaround to keep from having to wait on pectic enzyme to come in the mail?
