I am currently fermenting my first batch. I pitched the yeast last night and have a nice 1 inch layer of krausen on top. My question is, when do I make my transfers? Is there a chart or link to tell when or at what gravity to rack and add additives?
Thanks for the info. Do the Juice concentrate(welches) make a good wine? I might just have to start with the cherry wine posted. Any changes you would make to the recipe?
