Willamette valley wine tasting

I am heading to Seattle for a meeting through next Tuesday and then taking a few days R&R in the Willamette Valley. I made appointments at the following wineries for tastings: Ponci, Soter, Willakenzi and Patricia Green. We will do some hiking too. I will keep you posted.

We spent about three days last year at this time in McMinville, OR. Great town with great food for such a small place. Our favorite wineries were Archery Summit, Beaux Freres, Sokol Blosser, Erath and a little winery named Biggio Hamina. All highly recommended. Have a great time!

I spent a few days in McMinville a bit ago, as well.

Some of the better wines were found at little known, off the beaten path wineries. No matte what, Erath is cool!
