For those of us that skip using the Bentonite when making a kit wine, something your wife can appreciate:

Directions
Mix one part clay to two parts apple cider vinegar and/or water. Do not use a metal bowl or utensil to mix. Add more liquid or clay as needed. Mix to a smooth consistency. Skin: Smooth mask about ¼ in. thick on face and other desired areas. Let dry for 15-20 min. for Normal/Oily skin, and 5-10 min. for sensitive skin. Warming and Tightening sensation is expected. Rinse liberally with warm water. Hair: Smooth mask in sections onto damp/wet hair distributing evenly. Let dry for 15-25 min. Rinse liberally with warm water, being sure to rinse all clay from the hair. Bath: Add 2-4 cups of clay in bath to absorb toxins.

Moistened into a putty-like consistency, Bentonite makes a good pipe thread sealant, too.

It can be used to seal leaking bird baths or decorative yard ponds, as well.

In 50-pound bagfuls, it is used to seal around drilled well casings and to seal up leaking ponds and lakes.
