The Christmas wine is ready

Bottled up just under 5 cases last night. The Riesling is pretty sweet and not my favorite but my wife likes it and so will the MIL.

The Merlot I like much better and it's a great wine IMO for non-wine drinkers. I prefer to boost the ABV on the merlot but this time didn't as most of it is going to be gifted.

Time to figure out what to do with the empty carboys!

Beautiful. It will make nice Christmas gifts. But I'd have a hard time giving it up.

I made a Vin Santo from Malvesia Bianca juice and we are giving the first three bottles away to our "Gourmet Group" tonight. (Really not "gourmets," just four couples that like to eat and drink!) My Bride and I taste tested it last night (it is a sweet dessert wine, for those that are not familiar with it) and, frankly, I've had worse.
