I just started a Winexpert Select International Spanish Tempranillo this morning. The instructions say to add all the oak powder during the initial stage. Then you add the oak cubes during the secondary ferment. No problem, I have done this many times. My issue, they include (2) packets of powder, (2) packets of oak chips and (1) packet of oak cubes. The instructions say nothing about oak chips. Should I assume they want that in for the primary ferment?
Please, let me know, the yeast has been on for a few hours already.
Thanks.

Powder and chips are both added to the primary. Only the cubes are saved for secondary.
