Has anyone on this board used Smuckers Syrup in sweetening and adding flavor to wine such as blackberry or strawberry? I noticed on the ingredients they have pectin added. It is mostly corn syrup with flavor.

:HB FAVORING A WINE WINE A SYRUP IS NOT THE BEST IDEA IN PLACE OF A TRUE FPAC,NOR ONE I WOULD RECOMMEND IT EITHER,HOWEVER I HAVE A GOOD FRIEND AND FELLOW WINE MAKER (TOM) AS YOU KNOW HIM WHO ADDED RASPBERRY SYRUP TO A SUMMER WHEAT BEER I THINK AND IT WAS OUTSTANDING ,AT THE BEER FESTIVAL THAT HIM AND I PARTICIPATED-IN,HE HAD THE LADIES AND GUYS DRAINING HIS:HB KEG....BUT NOT FOR WINE. COULD LEND OFF FLAVORS TO THE MIX..:d
