Hello everyone, I am about to rack my wine out of the primary and I had the idea to save the grape pack, perhaps freezing it and reusing it in my chilean malbec juice I'm getting in the next couple of weeks. Do you think it will help? Better question, do you think it will hurt?

Won't help, there is nothing left in it if you squeezed it all at the end. You would be better off purchasing a new CC Cab Sauv grape pack if you want to add some grape skins and tannin.

I agree, they are totally spent. If this was a wine made enirely rom grapes then there would be enough to make a light table wine but with just that little bit it would add nothing and its old so it could possible contaminate the next batch. Not worth it!

I was told the used grape packs make great steak marinade. I am going to try using mine this weekend.
