There's nothing compared to food cooked in a clay and brick oven, is there. I've had a short drive last night to a friend's cottage and we had the most amazing oven mediteranian dinner sprinkled with a crisp cold gewurztraminer. How can I get me one of those ovens in my house I wonder?

All you do is build the oven then the house around it, nothing to it!

There's a house for sale here that includes a wood fired pizza oven. I don't think it has sold yet. Only $1.1 million.

I would love one too. No funds or space available.

Find a nice space in your backyard. It doesn't have to be indoors! Then make a friend who is of Russian background, specifically a Doukhobor Russian. Almost all of the men have the knowledge to build large outdoor clay ovens that can last decades! They are called a "Pich", which is pronounced peach.
