Freezing grapes

are you able to freeze fresh grapes and make wine with them latter . how do you freeze them,do you wash them first and then freeze.also how many pounds or quarts does it take per gallon.

Yes, you can freeze them. You can wash and destem and freeze the whole grape in sealed containers or ziplock bags. What kind of grapes are you using? For wine grapes you can estimate it takes about 12 pounds to produce one gallon of wine.
