Did some barrel topping last night, have to say this one is turning out real, real nice.

I have in the past only made Spagnols high end kits and have been very pleased.

Was really impressed as I tasted last night. Wine is at 10 months, and 4 months of that in the barrel (almost neutral now).

I don't drink them until 2 years, but can tell you that this kit is going to turn out as nice as any I've made.

Mine is a mere 3 months of age and went into the Vadai last weekend. I too thought it was pretty good already.

Bottled this one last night, and again was real impressed. I filtered and bottled and am real excited about it.

In the past 3 months or so it has picked up a raisiny and road tar taste which I love. It has a tiny bit of a bitter ending which will fade after a year in the bottle.

13 months, 5 in a neutral barrel.

Very happy, again I've only made Spagnols En Primeur, and CCWS prior, but would definately recommend this kit to anyone who loves bid bold reds.
