I got to watch the video - why would you use that stirrer prior to racking ? I noticed he stirred everything on the bottom of the carboy into the wine. I am also suprised he did not end up with a volcano ! When ever I used them I always ended up with wine everywhere and my hands cupping the top of the carboy to keep it from exploding anymore.
And the wife yelling at me also - LOL
