Our local market is selling chilein grapes here for 1.34 lb. Just wondering if these would make good wine ? There really good tasting sweet and juicy.

How many would i need for a 5 gall batch if so ?

If your talking a normal table grape that is about all you can purchase at this time of year unfortunately no. They do not have enough acid or tannin to make much of a wine but they are excellent for munching on!

Yea that's what I thought. I'll just stick to making fruit and welches wine. Just thought I'd ask lol.

I have 10 gallons of rose in secondary right now using Thompson seedless. Looks to be good so far. If it works out, I will post the recipe.
