California is hurting, a few vineyards have all ready lost vines from last season. Government water systems have shut down there supply of water to 750,000 acres of farm and more coming... Was just reading about and following the story on it.. It's a shame to see that many vines die....

My supplier just called me the other day all pails $50. Just like last season... Ordered 10 pails... Using Capra collina in jessup pa....

I would like to know how filtering a wine can cause flavor loss? Unless you use a carbon filter you can not unless u have some super filter that is .00005 microns. Hope I'm missing something here. I filter all my whites....

Done a niagara with a Vincent 90/10, niagara with Catawba 75/25, Catawba niagara 80/20, honey blossom mead with Baco noir 85/15.

The 2 on the outside still look cloudy to me and the middle well do not rush any of them. Time is your friend when it comes to making wine.......

You know it's out of hand when you start adding stainless to your collection of carboys because 6 gallons just ain't enought lol...

I like that design, like it says easy to clean and leaving top off to start ur ferment would be nice, then lock top down for final ferment and aging... Top design reminds me of my 275 gallon storage tanks..

My method is course filtering stabilize wine wait 24hrs back sweeten to liking let sit 24hrs then final filtering. This way no crystals or anything...I hate adding any water to my wines. Granted a 2/1 ratio is not bad but your still adding water....
