    Has anybody seen Blood into Wine? Great movie. I really enjoyed it. Mondovino is also quite good. Mondovino is what got me started thinking that maybe I should make some wine.

    I've got a 6 gallon carboy. I was planning on making 3 gallons of wine. Can I use the 6 gal carbon for 2ndary fermentation? Or do I need to fill it? I figure if I can't use it, I'll use the glass gallon jugs the juice came in to ferment, just get more stoppers and air locks. Also, during...

    Newbee question about sugar

    I'm brand new to winemaking and brand new to the forums. I'm interested in fruit wines. Some recipes say to add sugar and some don't. I'm wondering what the general purpose of adding sugar to juice is - more alcohol? Sweeter wine at the end? thanks all.
