Yes, Island Mist kit ferment really fast because the starting SG is around 1.050-1.060. I have my 3rd kit on primary. Add some dextrose for a starting SG of 1.072.

You can also use the Headspace eliminator sale by Vacuumpumpman.:h It's what I do. ;)

Can't give you any feedback because I didn't start my kit already(still on the counter),but I will follow this thread. Don't think it will hurt to add the other pack of yeast if your worried about it.

The World Vineyard WE series should be drinkable in about 3 months of aging.

I'm making these kit too. I just poor the dextrose bag in the must at around 1.040 and stir well. It is use to raise up the sg of 0.010 or so.

Also use Goo Gone.

My very first wine(dragon blood) production. :HB 31 bottles this morning.

Just bottling for the first time with the AIO pump this morning. Work so well and so fast. Don't spill a drop of wine and the level is the same all time. The release valve is so easy to work to slow down the filling process.I think it take me less than 10 mins to fill 31 bottles.:ib No need to...
