WineXpert Which kit to use ???

My favorite commercial wine is" Menage a trois " from "Folie a deux" vineyard. I know I'm not very original but I'm assuming it, I love this wine.


Does anyone knows a wine kit that can get close to this ?

Barefoot, I have had the wine and, although I liked it, I don't have a strong recollection of what it tasted like. But, from what cpfan has contributed, it would be similar to a Super Tuscan or a Rosso Fortissimo, which are mixtures of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and an Italian red like Sangiovese.

I've had that a few times and from what I recall, it was a pretty good blend. Rather strong flavored with just a hint of sweetness - almost a little chocolate or mocha in there too. Unfortunately, I haven't made that many kits to be able to make a recommendation, but I'd guess a blend of cab and/or syrah/shiraz and/or merlot.
