So it finally happened to me. I started a MM Alljuice Barolo on Saturday morning and since Sunday evening it just does not want to stay in the bucket. I removed the heatbelt, covered the whole for the fermentation lock with a large bowl and cleaned up the mess, but it keeps climing out of the bucket.
So what do you guys usually do to tame a wild one?

You can split it into two buckets while very vigorous and then combine bac. You can also cool it a bit to slow it down-just don't go to far.

What size fermentor bucket do you have?
I almost had a spill with my last MM kit, so I ordered a 10-gallon fermentor from George... maybe I am safe, now, at least with 6-gallon kits.

Do not LOCK the lid. Just lay it on top

A 15 gallon fermentor wouldn't even fit in my little wine room!!!
