Mosti Mondiale Vinifera Noble Merlot

Hey everyone,

I was just curious if anyone else has made this kit, and if so, how it turned out. I just did a final racking for bulk aging of this kit this weekend, and let's just say that when I tried it...it smelled, and tasted less than delicious I know it's still very, very young, so I expected some harshness to it, but was a little surprised by both the smell and taste. It's my first kit, so I was just curious if that was normal at this stage.

I made that kit and early on it can smell less than desireable. Give it a few months and it will improve quite dramatically.

I've got a post a few topic up about the Vinifera Noble Castel de Papa - same thing for me. 5 months in and the wine is great, but left much to be desired early on.
