I got a packet of this clearing agent called claro kc....comes with a packet of KIESELSOL and a larger packet of chitosan.
I only have 1 gallon carboy that needs to be cleared soon of red wine.......do i need to use ALL this clearing agent? or can i use half of each packet and use the other half for my other carboy when it comes time to clear that. I'm not sure if these are all set up for 5 gallon+ batches.
