Types of Labels

Just wondering what everyone uses for labels? I purchased the Avery 3.3"X4" mailing label for my first batch, and because they are a matte finish, they print with an unimpressive dull look to them. Is there something else I can use from the avery line with roughly the same dimensions that will hold a printed image well with a gloss or semi gloss finish?

A laser printer would help out some but I use an ink jet myself and am quiet pleased with the results. Using a a shiney label might smear the ink with an ink jet.

Yeh thats what I was thinking, it just fhe labels look so dull when printed on a mailing label versus how nice they look on the computer
