This is in a Passport series red. Used a thief to get a sample, smells and tastes great, but am a little worried about it. Thoughts?

If you look closely, you might find something similar in your milk jug if not consumed fast enough!! Suspect nothing to fret over. Keep your K-meta regimen up to date and rack off sediments ;)

Im thinking It might be yeast floating which has left a line as the wine has evaporated, personally I wouldn't worry about, the abv in wine kills most dangerous organisms, so, if tastes ok, I personally would drink it. If its not yeast its likely to be a residue from whatever was fermented, ive noticed a similar line from blueberry but, obviously its darker in colour and is just residue from the blueberries.

Its also possible its yeast as in flor, which will potentially cause a mellowing flavour either way its very likely harmless, if it smells ok as well.
