Just Read the lyrics below. I DARE YOU

If you were a kid in the 60's, and watched Saturday morning cartoons, this song will be in your head for the rest of the week-end!

Mwa-ha-ha....

when criminals in this world appear
and break the laws that they should fear
and frighten all who see or hear
the cry goes up both far and near
for Underdog! Underdog! Underdog! Underdog!

speed of lightning, roar of thunder
fighting all who rob or plunder
Underdog. Underdog!

when in this world the headlines read
of those whose hearts are filled with greed
who rob and steal from those who need
to right this wrong with blinding speed
goes Underdog! Underdog! Underdog! Underdog!

speed of lightning, roar of thunder
fighting all who rob or plunder
Underdog. Underdog!

I can't believe I fell into that. Nice John. Now my day IS ruined.

I wonder how many hours i spent singing that as a kid.

For us Canadian's - Mr. Dressup , Friendly Giant and Uncle Bobby ( The Bimbo song that is something you can get out of your head)

Underdog, Rocky and Bullwinkle and Johnny Quest were all Saturday morning staples in our house.

Who could forget all of the other characters on the underdog show??
Tennessee Tuxedo, for example.

... and what about Underdog's super energy pill??

:)

I grew up in the 90's and still have that song stuck in my head, thanks John

Haha, Dan, great link

awesome cartoon. Watched every Sunday morning. Sweet Polly Purebread, Simon Barsinester, And all the rest. Now they use that song in a shoe commercial. Takes some time to get it out of your head!

It was one of my favorites along with Atom Ant.

As it turns out, my wife's first name is Polly. Had a lot of fun with that name... :)
