How important is it to hull strawberries you freeze for wine? Ive been hulling, crushing and freezing berries in 1/2 gallon containers. Late summer, early fall unthaw and press the berries. I mix juice and water 50/50 for wine. It would save a lot of time if I didn't have to hull them but don't want off flavors from the stems. Any advice on this is greatly appreciated!
 
How are you hulling them? As long as the stems (Anything green) and any moldy/bad spots are removed I don't see why you need to do anything more.
