SO2 adjusting

How long after I adjust the SO2 level should I wait to re-check?

Depends on what your doing I suppose. Are you bulk aging? Carboy or Barrel?

Bulk ageing. When I add Kmeta according to the formula and check in a week or two it seems that 90% is bound up and I get very little increase. At least not what I am expecting. So I thought to verify this I should check quickly and then again in 2 weeks.

I guess what I am asking is would an increase in SO2 be apparent immediately or does it need a day or two or .... to read correctly.

It should be immediate. You just need to make sure its stirred well.
