<DIV =lm_tip id=lm_tip10 =lm_div_mouseOver(); =lm_div_mouseOut();> Started a batch of pumpkin spice wine last week with some leftover pumkins from our church fall festival. Couldn't find a recipe that I really like so I kinda winged it. I decided to go onthe low side for my S.G. and started at 1.085. Used a Cote Des Blanc yeast (Thought Montrachet might be a bit too weak for this one). Transferred to the carboy yesterday and it smells absolutely delicious. Has anyone else ever tried making a pumkin spice wine before? I must admit I'm curious if it will taste as good as it smells.

have not made but it does sound good and thats the Dunkin Donuts flavor that I like until the ginger bread comes out. Those are my 2 favorites.

I started a gallon batch of pumpkin wine last week,but I used the canned mix with the spices already in it.I used 2-14oz cans of mix and 2 1/2 Lbs of lt.brown sugar and 1122 yeast.It smells good,and has just about stopped fermenting.I havent racked it yet.
