Why cant i get my pee to get under 1.000 ???

I see others getting there's around .995 what's going on here ???

I dont mind the stoping point being 1.000 but its just weird everyone else gets theres lower. Its not a slow ferment either. Its dosnt change after 1 week ....

what-ever i get to bottle faster !

What yeast are you using? Some yeasts are more likely to drop to the lower levels. Red Star Primier CuVee and Lalvin EC-1118 are yeasts that tend to take me below the 1.000 mark. Another thing to check is that your hydrometer is reading correctly. It should float at 1.000 in distilled water.

Ec-1118 I dont know why its not dropping lower ??? mabey my hydro is a little off..... what ever i can stabilize it and back sweeten and it dosnt re-ferment !

Ok i just checked a limeade batch and its at .998 ??? what ever maybe the lime had something to do with it.
