I put my batches of Chilean Malbec/Syrah Juice with Malbec grapes through MLF following normal fermentation. They have been undergoing MLF for about two months now and I am getting a bit concerned whether its' finished so I can get some K-Meta on them.

Can you please review my chromatography results and let me know what you think, more time or are we ready to rack?

Thanks,

Tony

What does MLF stand for? Sorry, I'm new.

MLF=Malolactic Fermentation, a process in which following normal fermentation, malolactic bacteria is added to the wine to convert the Malic acid in the wine to Lactic acid.

All this makes for a better wine, done on most reds, very few whites, but not kit wines. You may wish to search MLF on this forum as there is more information then I can write. Keep reading and learning it's part of the fun.
