Milwaukee ph56 won't calibrate

I'm trying to calibrate my ph meter which I just got last Xmas and have only used a couple of times. It has been stored in bottled water, per directions, and I've changed it up to keep it fresh. I put new batteries in as I thought that might be the problem. I press and hold the on/off button and it takes a while to show 'cal', sometimes it won't at all. So when it goes to 'cal', I release the button and it says 7.01 'use', so I put it in my just opened solution and the message changes to 'wrng'. I rinsed the meter in water and the message will change to 'rec', as soon as I place back in the 7.01 it goes back to 'use' then 'wrng'. Anyone have any ideas for me?

I sent an email to milwaukee, just waiting to hear back. I have a must that will need adjusting prior to fermentation and really don't know what to do to proceed.

Just got an email from Bryan at Milwaukee and he's sending me a replacement probe!! Now that is service!!
