Nope. This is a submersible pump only. Can you return it or exchange it? You could use it to pump water in a fountain in your yard.
 
It's not a submersible pump, it's a transfer pump.

If you are going to spend that kind of money, get the all in one thing that is sold on this site.
 
This is NOT a submergable pump. Don't let the description throw you off. It says "That means the pump will need to be mounted below the level of the liquid to be pumped. Since it is not a self priming pump, it should not be run dry so you should mount the pump below the liquid being pumped so it always has liquid going into the inlet. Do NOT submerge this pump. You will kill the pump and probably get shocked in the process.

I don't see why you couldn't use it as a transfer pump..

Test it out with some water and buckets...
 
hmmm yes, but its has a limited use anyway..
recently i was looking at Euro 30 from Enoitalia at it seems cool.. but i have one big doubt - can i use it also for must transfer?
