I have processed a lot of loquats to get the juice and pulp. I did it all by hand, squeezing out the seeds and the pulp/juice. I had a little more than 2 full 5 gallon buckets of loquats. Now that I've got just the juice and pulp, I froze 3 bags of the stuff, each with 5 lbs.

I'm hoping to make a 5 gallon batch of loquat. I'm wondering if I have enough. I've seen most fruit recipes call for around 6 lb of fruit per gallon. I think I had 25-28 lb of loquats before I processed them. I have the opportunity to get a lot more if I need it probably this Thursday.

So my question is - that suggested amount of 6#/gallon - is that pre or post processing (skin/seed removal).
