Just a question about pollen

I was wondering something today and figured this would be the place to ask this experimental question.... can Pine pollen effect fermentation of wine? Walking about today i noticed how much pollen there was. The ground is yellow from it all. I live is east texas near Lake Livingston. And if we have any trees, its surely pine trees. I was just curious.

We don't have much for pine trees, but in a couple of months there are going to be mile upon mile of cornfields that are producing pollen. For what it is worth, it has never affected any of the wines I have been making. Good luck with yours, Arne.
