I have been in the process of making a watermelon wine started the process March 1st and hoping it turns out right, but it looks pinkish white from the watermelon and yeast but it doesn't smell spoiled it has the right smell but looks different

I have tried watermelon several times. It clears quite well, possibly too well the pink color on fresh juice falls out with the lees. I have done added color as a few percent black raspberry or sumach berries or aronia which stay in solution. I haven’t figured a good way to protect the fruity aroma. At a year I see fresh fruit in mine. We have had some really good watermelon at state fair. Hope yours has good shelf life.
