how long to age apple wine

So far, my apple wines have needed at least a year for the edge to come off. I bottle part of my batches in 375s for sampling along the way.
 
I agree with Bob, after one year the apple is very good.
 
While you are waiting for the year aging period do you make any adjustments to flavor or sweetness during that time or do you wait until the apple wine has done all it is going to do?

For me, the year is AFTER all tweaks have been done, the wine is cleared, degassed and in the bottle.
