Holes in leaves

Can someone tell me what is causing these holes in the grape vine leaves? And how to treat this?

My first thought is ( Japanese beetles). They seem to do most of their feeding mid-day so you might miss them if you are looking early or late.

The Japanese beetles have been causing damage on my leaves here in SE MI. Just sprayed Sevin on them yesterday. They all die in about 30 mins. Also use Japanese beetle traps.

Japanese beetles usually leave a more lacy look where they feed.
