Hello. Great forum!

I retired last year and have a little more time on my hands. I made wine back in the 90s but stopped because of a change in my work situation (weekly commuting). I still have all of the equipment and recently bought a kit from Costco (Malbec). In trying to dust off my brain regarding winemaking, I did a Google search and found this site. There seems to be a wide range of knowledge and experience on this board, as well as, great discussion. I look forward to participating.

Welcome Brian. First of all, congrats on the retirement. This will be a great hobby for retirement years. Interesting note on the kit from Costco. I guess my local Costco doesn't stock wine kits. Also beware that carboys multiply like rabbits so just be aware.
