Hello! I'm a long time lurker who finally decided to make an account.

I have been making wine for about 5 years. I mostly do kits, but have started to make country wines and meads as well. I've even made one batch of beer (even though I'm not a huge beer drinker).

Hello from Ontario, this is a great site and I have learned lots reading thru the different postings.

My son lives West of you in Vancouver BC.

Lets hope Oil prices recover as it is having a big negative impact on business.

I'm hearing you about the gas industry. I know quite a few people who've been laid off.

dont know where is wild rose country you are but if around Red Deer check this place out. I know people who drive 2 hours to get their kits at valentines and its still worth it. No prices on web site though

Thanks for the link! I live in Calgary, and sometimes drive through or near Red Deer for work or to visit friends. Next time I will check them out.
