RJ Spagnols Heat wave in my basement!

Living in RI I didn't anticipate in being 80degrees in mid-March! Having said that, my basement is currently sitting at 68 degrees! Nobody has portable AC's in stock, and I have now windows in my basement. Am I killing my aging wine? What is my best solution? Thanks!

Leave your cellar door open if you can so that warmer air will travel up the stairway and out of the basement. If you have a large fan, set it at the top of the cellar steps to draw warm are out of the basement. In any case, I don't think 68 degrees will cause you any issues but these measures could lower the temperature a few degrees. At what stage is the wine at present?
