Anyone have some favorite slogans or sayings?? Here are a couple of mine:

When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Brewing beer is neither complicated nor expensive. It's the responsibility of the brewer to make it as complicated and expensive as their wifes will allow. Great beer is made in small pots in a kitchen; Our beer is made in larger pots in the garage. People have been brewing spectacular beers for thousands of years; We've been brewing mediocre beers for a few months. Since we've been brewing for months, we're naturally experts."

One of my favorites is:

"Never, ever, let your sense of doing the right thing interfere with politics!"

"If wishes were horses then beggers would ride,

If turnips were watches I would wear one by my side."

"Let us be thankful for the fools. But for them the rest of us could not
succeed."

Mark Twain

"That person is mercifully unfettered by the chains of intelligence" - Sir Winston Churchill Edited by: Dean

"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit! No use making a d%#^ fool out of yourself!" - W.C. Fields

Sorry, none of mine are fit for family viewing

Everybody is entitled to a little stupid, unfortunately some people have used up their allotted amount.

A couple that I feel would be applicable to winemaking:

"He that can have patience can have what he will"

"When all else fails, Read the instructions"

"Always listen to the experts. They'll tell you what can't be done and why. Then DO IT"
