WineXpert Eclipse Chardonnay Yeast

Hi All,

I started an Eclipse Chardonnay this morning. SG 1.096. I substituted the EC 1118 that the Kit came with for D47. The packet of EC 1118 is 5g. The packet of D47 is 8g. I'm wasn't sure if I should have put the full 8g in. I pitched 6g of D47. Do you think that's enough or should I put in the remaining 2g in?

You'll be fine. You'll just be starting off with a little more yeast before they start multiplying.
