Man, I am so hooked on watching these California eagles incubate their 3 eggs... I keep it on in the background whenever I am online... It's kinda like watching golf! šŸ¤£ It calms me...

It's amazing. Here in the Poconos, last year we had a live camera under a deck where a black bear was staying for about 3 winter months with her 2 cubs. It was just amazing to watch.

I don't know why, but when I saw this post I was reminded of Grant Woods' "American gothic."

I am still so hooked. I leave it on whenever I am online. Today, I saw two exchanges of nest-sitting duties. FUN! I leave the sound on low, so when I hear the nested bird start calling, I know a potential fly-in and swap is possible. The eggs should start to hatch sometime around 2-25, give or take. Plus, it is a gorgeous setting. I'd like to stay there a bit sometime.
